Who can come?
The Bamberger Tafel supports people who are in a difficult economic situation with the giving out of food. For registering as a customer at the Tafel, there are some requirements to fulfill:
- You receive Bürgergeld, Wohngeldzuschuss, Sozialhilfeleistungen or Grundsicherung
- You have a residence certificate for asylum seekers (except refugees in the first reception – there is full catering.)
- You receive a low pension
- You have a low salary or no salary
Please bring your valid communications/papers and an official document (identity card, passport) at our office time (Monday 10:00 am – 0:30pm) for you new registration. Without a registration with us, you can’t get any foods.
Procedure of giving out
After your registration you get an id card with the day (wednesday or saturday) and an identification letter (A-H) to determine the pick-up time at which you can come to our food giving out. An employee regulates the inlet. Please wait in front of the building until you are called. You have to bring along thermobags and bags for the foods. No thermobag = no cooled products!
